Picking apples from the tree is one of the most enjoyable experiences. In the Val di Non you can actually surprise your dear ones with this memorable event! It's quick and easy to realise this original idea: once purchased, you will find a personalised voucher in your e-mail inbox within 24 hours, which is addressed to the person who you would like to surprise with the adoption of a Val di Non PDO apple tree. After receiving the voucher, it's up to you to either print it out and put it inside a nice envelope, or send it via email to someone who lives far away!
This is what you gift with “Adopt and gift an apple tree”
The real gift is the experience itself: the person receiving the gift will spend half a day amidst the orchard, together with the staff of Associazione Strada della Mela e dei Sapori.
The staff will also label the apple tree with the name tag displaying both the name of the person receiving the gift and the name you have chosen for the adopted tree. The day of the apple harvest, they will accompany your dearest one to the apple tree and explain how the apples can be picked carefully from their branch and thus be preserved in the best possible way for the trip back home.
Besides the memory of the experience itself, your beloved one can enjoy the famous PDO apples as well as three useful gadgets for the apple harvest which can be used at home.
You can choose between two options for your present. The only thing that changes is the amount of apples that will be harvested:

This package includes 5 kg of Val di Non PDO apples directly harvested from their tree, as well a small box made of wood, a farmer's hat, an apple slicer and a snack voucher valid for one person. - Experience “Adopt and gift an apple tree” for € 30.00
This package includes 15 kg of Val di Non PDO apples directly harvested from their tree, as well a large box made of wood, a farmer's hat, an apple slicer and a snack voucher valid for one person.
And this is how it works:
- You can purchase the desired experience package for € 20.00 or € 30.00 online. We ask you to provide us with the following information in order to personalise the voucher:
- your e-mail address to allow us to send you the personalised voucher;
- your name;
- the name of the person who will receive the voucher;
- the email address of the person who will receive the tree sponsorship. We will need this information in order to contact him/her in autumn to set the date and time for the harvest of the apples;
- the name you have chosen for the adopted tree.
All this information is needed to correctly issue the gift voucher and the label for the tree sponsorship!
- You will receive an email from the address info@visitvaldinon.it within 24 hours, which contains the personalised voucher as a pdf file. The voucher will be delivered in an A5 format (21x15 cm) - you are free to decide whether you want to print it out and put it in a nice envelope or send it by e-mail!
- We will contact the person who received the voucher in order to fix the date and time of the apple harvest as well as to discuss the appropriate clothing and equipment! The approximate dates are scheduled for October 28th and 29th 2024, but may vary depending on the season and the apples' level of maturity.
