My family and I never miss the Quattro Ville in Fiore. Every year at the end of April, during the blossom season, we take part in this special day to celebrate spring in the Val di Non along with many other people. It is a non-competitive event that everyone can take part in, regardless of age or fitness. It is an opportunity to walk among the castles such as Castel Valer and Castel Nanno, little churches and charming villages with the beauty of the apple blossom as the backdrop.
The great thing about the Quattro Ville event is that you don’t have to run it, you can just walk the 5 or 11 kilometre distances, stopping off at the refreshment stands to enjoy some local recipes and admire the beauty of the green shoots of spring.
See you there! You just need some comfortable shoes, your entry card and off you go into the flower-filled orchards!
