The world behind an apple: guided tour of Melinda’s processing facilities
What happens after the harvest? What is really behind a Melinda apple? With this guided tour you enter the heart of the Melinda Consortium and discover the journey of each fruit, from delivery to processing and packaging.
You will walk through the processing facilities to observe machinery, sorting and production processes up close, and get to know the different varieties of Melinda apples, grown with care by farmers in the Valli del Noce. The visit ends with a small tasting of Melinda apple varieties: aromas, textures and different characteristics. Will you be able to recognize them?
