Ice skating on a frozen lake: Lago Smeraldo

In Fondo in winter, the equipped frozen lake Smeraldo becomes the ideal place to skate freely surrounded by the breath-taking landscape of Val di Non woods.

The ice skating rink at Lago Smeraldo is open from 5 January 2026, weather permitting:
- 5 January: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm | 6 January: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
- From 10 January, every Saturday from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm, and every Sunday from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
- On Saturday mornings, the Palasmeraldo ice rink is open to the public from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

In case of bad weather or temperatures that are too high, skating will take place only on Saturdays and Sundays at the Palasmeraldo rink, with the same opening hours!
