Ice skating on a frozen lake: Lago Smeraldo

In Fondo in winter, the equipped frozen lake Smeraldo becomes the ideal place to skate freely surrounded by the breath-taking landscape of Val di Non woods.

The ice rink at Lake Smeraldo will open in winter, depending on weather conditions:
- from 22 November 2025 to 31 March 2026, every Saturday from 10:30–12:30, 14:30–17:30, and 20:30–22:30, and every Sunday from 14:30–17:30
- from 24 December to 6 January, open daily (except 03.01) from 10:30–12:30, 14:30–17:30, and 20:30–22:30 (24.12, 31.12, and 06.01: morning and afternoon only; 25.12 and 01.01: afternoon and evening only).

In case of bad weather or temperatures that are too high, skating will take place only on Saturdays and Sundays at the Palasmeraldo rink, with the same opening hours!
