This farm is easy to reach on foot along a dirt track from the Hofmahd car park located along the state road that connects Val di Non and Val d’Ultimo.
From the farm you can reach Monte Ori (Auf der Höhe) and Monte Pòpi (Steinmandl), two scenic viewpoints over the Maddalene range and the Dolomites.
The malga is open on Sundays until the end of March. It is then open on Easter and Pentecost (May 24 and 25). In April and May it is open on the indicated public holidays and only on Sundays if the weather is good. From May 31 to October 11 it is open every day.
