This farm is easy to reach on foot along a dirt track from the Hofmahd car park located along the state road that connects Val di Non and Val d’Ultimo.
From the farm you can reach Monte Ori (Auf der Höhe) and Monte Pòpi (Steinmandl), two scenic viewpoints over the Maddalene range and the Dolomites.
The malga is open every day from June 1st to October 15th.

Closure of Forest Road No. 28 to Malga di Lauregno
Forest Road No. 28 leading to Malga di Lauregno is closed to hikers and vehicles from 20 July 2026 until the completion of the works. Malga di Lauregno can be reached from the Hofmadh car park (Castrin Pass) via Trail No. 26. Cyclists can reach the mountain hut via the hamlet of Sinaplana and Brez Pass by following the "Nuova Strada" forest road.
