This farm is easy to reach on foot along a dirt track from the Hofmahd car park located along the state road that connects Val di Non and Val d’Ultimo.
From the farm you can reach Monte Ori (Auf der Höhe) and Monte Pòpi (Steinmandl), two scenic viewpoints over the Maddalene range and the Dolomites.
The malga is open on December 26, 27 and 28, on January 1, and then every Sunday until the end of March.

From the car park, the easily accessible forest road no. 26 leads directly up to the mountain farm at an altitude of 1777 m. Malga Lauregno can be reached in about 45 minutes on foot and is open in summer and on winter Sundays. It is located in a sunny and panoramic position and, being in the province of Bolzano, the management is South Tyrolean and so are the meals on the menu.
