A forest trail where art meets natureIn the heart of Alta Val di Non, just a few minutes from the center of Cavareno, there is a place where nature becomes an open-air museum. This is the Parco Arte Pineta: a gentle path through the woods, created for those who love to walk slowly and let themselves be inspired.
Along the trail, you’ll discover installations and sculptures by artists who chose to work in harmony with nature, using simple and often reclaimed materials. The seven permanent works are all worth discovering: from the female figure of Rinascita, emerging from the ground as a symbol of regeneration, to the large wooden hand of Impronta verde, calling for environmental awareness; from the hidden Owl among the trees, to the imposing figure of Gorev, the gatherer of Cavareno, symbolizing the deep bond between humans and the land. And then the Deer, the Om de la Fauz with his scythe, and La Sort, evoking the era of lumberjacks and pack mules.
The park unfolds along a loop trail of about 1.2 kilometers. It’s easy and accessible to everyone – including dogs on a leash – with a short uphill section in the middle. The trail can be walked or cycled in all seasons and is also suitable for trekking strollers. It takes about half an hour to complete, but it’s worth slowing down: between each sculpture, the forest invites you to stop, observe, and breathe.
In addition to art, the park offers equipped rest areas with picnic tables, barbecue spots, water fountains, and green relaxation zones. There is also a small amphitheater used in summer for events and workshops, and a section of old World War I trenches that adds a touch of historical memory to the path.
