Fishing
In order to be able to fish in Val di Non, in addition to respecting the rules, it is necessary to have a regular permit. Fishing is permitted from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Night fishing is permitted only at Lake Santa Giustina for eel and tench from 1st July to 30th September, and for carp from 1st July to 30th November.

Fishing zones in Val di Non
The most suitable spots for fishing in Val di Non are the calm waters of the mountain lakes, including Lake Santa Giustina, Lake Smeraldo, Lake Tovel, Lake Ruffrè, Lake Mollaro and Lake Braide between Segno and Mollaro. Val di Non is also rich in streams where fishing is permitted: the Noce stream, the Sporeggio, the Barnes (excluding the area nearby Bagni di Bresimo), the Novella stream, the Rio Sass, the Rio San Romedio, the Rinascico, the Lavazzè, the Linor, the Rio Molini, the Pongaiola, the Pescara, the Tresenga and the Lovernatico. Private Lake at Restaurant Bar Baita Marnara in Sporminore
Baita Marnara in Sporminore allows you to fish trout in the private lake behind the restaurant, on Saturdays and Sundays from 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., assisted fishing at a cost of €13.00 per kilo, including equipment.
During restaurant opening hours (except Tuesdays, when the restaurant is closed), possibility of independent fishing at a cost of €25.00, including equipment, up to a maximum of 4 trout. For information Baita Marnara +39 3881757692

Lago di Tovel: from the thaw (approx 1st May)
Lago Braide between Segno and Mollaro (Predaia)
From January to May and from October to December 2023, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday it is allowed to fish at Lake Braide between Segno and Mollaro from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be possible to fish for beautiful trout, with a single rod equipped with natural or artificial bait.
It is possible to purchase a carnet of 16 entries at € 160.00, while the cost of a daily permit is € 18.00 and you will be able to fish up to 5 salmonids. A Fipsas membership card is compulsory and can also be obtained on site at a cost of € 10.00.

Closure of the fishing season
The fishing season ends on 30th September for all species and in all waters, with the exception of Lake Smeraldo and Lake Ruffè, which are closed on 31st October, and the Santa Giustina Lake where fishing is permitted until 30th November for all non-salmonid species (with the exception of rainbow trout).
