A historical restaurant along path 500 which climbs up to Monte Roen.
Open every day during Christmas holiday and then on friday, saturday and sunday. From February during the Carnival holidays open every day, then from Friday to Sunday until mid-March (depending on snow conditions).
Special evening opening: 20 and 27 January 2024.

Il Rifugio Mezzavia Halbweghütte ha una lunga storia alle spalle. Venne costruito nel 1938 e nel lontano 1959 il nostro nonno Moser Jackob lo acquistò. Quassù in montagna trascorse la sua infanzia nostra madre Hildegard che a soli 19 anni si prese carico del rifugio e cominciò a gestirlo.
Find out more about usThe hut can be reached on foot from Passo Mendola on path no. 500 with a walk of about 1 hour. To make the walk shorter, you can leave your car at the chairlift car park and continue on path 500 for 45 minutes. Anyone wishing to walk a little longer can leave their car at the pretty Ruffrè lakes and follow the signs for the Mezzavia hut, which first lead along a forest road and then along a pleasant path.
