Rifugio Peller is THE refuge of Val di Non. It is at the foot of Monte Peller in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. Rinaldo and his family have always had a warm welcome for hikers and those looking for good food, introducing them to every corner of this less well-known part of the Brenta Dolomites. The refuge is a compulsory stop-off for hikers travelling along the Dolomiti di Brenta Trek route and for bikers cycling along the Dolomiti di Brenta Bike route. But there are also many people who come up for the day or even just for the evening to savour the excellent evening meals prepared by Rinaldo. From the refuge you can set off on many different walks. First of all the Giro del Monte Peller which goes around the edge of the mountain and pops out on the panoramic Pian della Nana. From Pian della Nana you can carry on to the peak of Nana or the rocky peak Sasso Rosso. The refuge is open every day until 20 September. After this date it may open on other days if the weather is good, but it is best to check by calling the manager.
