The Alta Val di Non cycle path, with connection to Passo Mendola, is a splendid loop approximately 40 km long that runs on paved and asphalted roads and connects the villages of Malgolo, Romeno, Salter, Cavareno, Sarnonico, Ronzone, Malosco, and Fondo, as well as Passo Mendola with the new connection. The route is marked, mostly flat on the west side and has more climbs on the east side. The path is fully asphalted and is almost all downhill if you start from the Pass and consequently uphill if starting from Ronzone. The signage is very clear and present at every turn.
The new cycle path connects the famous Passo Mendola to the Alta Val di Non cycle path. You can start directly from the Pass to descend towards Ronzone and connect to the cycle path that crosses the villages of the Alta Valle and the famous meadows of Pradiei. Those already on the cycle path can continue on this new route by joining it near the Rose Garden of Ronzone and arrive with a gentle but steady climb up to Passo Mendola.
