Beautiful circular route connecting the villages of Cavareno and Ruffrè where it is worth stopping on the shores of the Laghetti dei Masi.
The route is well marked and runs along a wide trail in the forest in excellent condition. The contained elevation gain, the shade of the forest, and the arrival at the characteristic small lakes make it a perfect summer hike!
Once you arrive at the small lakes, it is worth visiting the educational farm Mas da la Val and stopping for a genuine lunch made with products from the farm stay.
Near the small lakes, there is also a small refreshment called Bait del Pizgagn. Finally, just beyond the lakes, there is a riding stable.
In Cavareno, you can't miss relaxing with a coffee seated in the charming square or ending the day with an artisanal ice cream from Gelateria Cavallar!
