A highly rewarding hike unfolding over the most beautiful peaks and ridges of the wild Maddalene mountain range, on the border with South Tyrol.
Exciting circular hike to be completed in a full day connecting three famous peaks of the Maddalene group: Cima Cornicoletto, Cima Belmonte, and Cima Vedetta Alta. The hike does not present particular technical difficulties except familiarity with the high mountain environment and exposed trails and ridges. The itinerary is always well marked; the only section without ground markings but with a clear track is between Cima Cornicoletto and Cima Belmonte.
Descending from Cima Vedetta Alta, it is recommended to take a break at one of the three huts encountered along the return: Malga Kessel, Malga di Revò, and Malga di Cloz.
