Pleasant half-day hike alternating the regenerating shade of the forest with panoramic points overlooking Val d'Agide and the Dolomites.
This hike is extremely varied and offers many places to stop and take a break: huts with typical dishes at the end, a sunny alpine pasture along the route, a panoramic terrace on the Dolomites, and the historic Passo Mendola. There are no technical difficulties or large elevation changes, but some training is needed to cover the nearly 14 km length.
The view from Monte Penegal is even more fascinating from early afternoon, when the sun is high or behind you and illuminates the Dolomites in all their splendor.
