In this area, the snow holds well during the winter and for this reason it is one of the most popular routes in winters with low snowfall. The slopes crossed are gentle and therefore low risk in case of heavy snowfalls.
Both Lauregno and Castrin alpine huts are well exposed to the sun and are open on winter weekends. Here you will find large swings and gentle slopes for sledding, making them popular with children too!
