Nice loop variant of the simple ascent to Monte Penegal starting from the locality Regole di Malosco, famous for the excellent dishes of its 3 mountain huts!
The ascent route is usually frequented and therefore tracked. The descent instead from the summit of Monte Penegal via the Forcolana is less frequented and you may find yourself breaking track in fresh snow.
If you are not very trained and have little familiarity with orientation in the mountains in its winter aspect, we recommend making the descent on the same route as the ascent.
