A pleasant flat route suitable for everyone. Through a short path immersed in the woods, which follows an ancient irrigation canal called “lez”, we reach two enchanting small lakes and a recreational area where you can refresh yourself.
The name of the avenue already tells a lot about itself. Walking this path means savoring only what nature can offer us: silence, delicate scents, and a panorama that changes following the evolving seasons. With the arrival of spring, some delicate flowers prevail: lady's slippers, primroses, violets. Vast violet fields catch our attention, because here heather reigns supreme and almost seems to invite us to lie down on its soft colorful carpet. In summer, we are accompanied by the slow flow of the “lez” waters which has always encouraged the little ones to build cute little boats made of bark or simple leaves, a game passed down from our grandparents. And so, fun competitions with friends arise, to see which boat reaches the end of the stream first. With the peace of autumn, we walk with our noses up, trying to spot some squirrels looking for winter reserves, and we are distracted only by the rustle of leaves moved among the bushes by some bird looking for food. Finally, with the cold of winter, everything suddenly stops and we can also enjoy the pause that the forest gives itself.
Throughout the entire route, we can admire some artworks, a true open-air museum that is enriched every year with new sculptures (Sculpture Symposium “Predaia Arte e Natura”). About halfway through, a stop at the charming wooden playground is a must for everyone: a real treehouse, a carved bear that at first glance seems real, a winged dragon, a balance path on logs, a wooden xylophone.
In the center of the village of Coredo from where we start our route, we find the Hotel Ristorante Sport that offers tasty menus for all tastes; dishes ranging from typical to traditional, where the chef chooses only zero-km and seasonal raw materials, thus vegetables from the area and local game.
If we want to have our meal immersed in nature, we can choose the Ristorante Due Laghi where we would be surprised by the flavor and simplicity of the dishes, as well as by the genuineness of the products and preparations.
Nearby we find Agritur Agostini which with simple and natural ingredients offers appetizing traditional and typical dishes of Trentino and Val di Non, and for those who still have the energy, why not take advantage of a nice horseback ride at the family riding school?
