The whistles of the marmots, the flowers in the meadow, the green grass and the Brenta Dolomites: this is the setting for the Suoni delle Dolomiti, the “Sounds of the Dolomites”, a series of outdoor concerts in the Val di Non, on the Pian della Nana plateau and at Malga Flavona.
My favourite medicines are music and the mountains. For me, just listening to a tune or taking a walk in the countryside cheers me up. And the Suoni delle Dolomiti combines both things: music and mountains.
Every summer the Val di Non hosts two concerts, on the Pian della Nana plateau and at Malga Flavona, which are always spellbinding. The backdrop is provided by the white rock towers and pinnacles of the Dolomites, as you sit in a flower-filled meadow with music provided by internationally renowned musicians.
It is a paradise for me, being able to be just a few steps away from someone playing live with the natural backdrop of these mountains I know so well. Have I tempted you?
