Casa Marta is located in the centre of Coredo, not far from the church square.
After the Coredo family, a woman called Marta Pezzini lived there and she married a Rizzardi who already lived in the house. In addition to the name of the house, she also gave the family one of its many nicknames (the Rizzardi's were called 'Marta').
Today the building is owned by the Comune of Coredo, which after major restoration work has opened it to the public, promoting exhibitions and events. The facade is softened by a graceful loggia with wooden columns, on which a stone-framed portal opens with a small round arch resting on an architrave.
