Monte Roen is a much-loved destination for walkers holidaying either in the Val di Non or around Lake Caldaro. To reach the summit, set off from Passo Mendola and after about 50 minutes take a break at the first hut, Rifugio Mezzavia. From there, it takes the best part of 2 hours to reach the summit of Monte Roen.
The chairlift allows you to go straight to Rifugio Mezzavia and to save your energy for getting to Malga di Romeno and the fantastic views from the top of Monte Roen!

The chairlift is open:
- from May 31 to June 29, on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM;
- from July 1 to July 31, every day from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM;
- from August 1 to August 31, every day with continuous hours from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM;
- from September 1 to September 7, every day from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM;
- afterwards, only on Saturdays and Sundays until September 28, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Special openings: June 2, 9, and 30 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
