Monte Roen is a much-loved destination for walkers holidaying either in the Val di Non or around Lake Caldaro. To reach the summit, set off from Passo Mendola and after about 50 minutes take a break at the first hut, Rifugio Mezzavia. From there, it takes the best part of 2 hours to reach the summit of Monte Roen.
The chairlift allows you to go straight to Rifugio Mezzavia and to save your energy for getting to Malga di Romeno and the fantastic views from the top of Monte Roen!

The lifts are open in summer on the following days and times:
- from May 16 to June 2: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- weekends June 13–14 / June 20–21: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- every day from June 27 to July 31: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- every day from August 1 to August 30: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm (continuous hours)
- every day from August 31 to October 4: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
