In summer, a shuttle bus runs between the village of Sanzeno and the famous San Romedio Sanctuary. This provides access to the hermitage without having to worry about parking along the narrow road up the canyon to San Romedio Sanctuary. The shuttle bus is also handy if you want to visit the sanctuary on foot via the “sentiero nella roccia” footpath and then get a lift back to the start!
The shuttle bus operates from 18 July to 7 September 2025, from 09:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
It departs from the Al Mulino car park every 20 minutes and runs as far as the car park just below the sanctuary.

The shuttle is free for children up to 10 years old
During the period when the shuttle bus is in service, tourist coaches can still enter the car park at the foot of the Sanctuary by paying a € 40.00 toll on site (even if only for unloading/loading passengers). Minibuses with up to 20 seats pay a toll of € 20.00.
A maximum of 2 dogs up to 5 kg without muzzle are allowed per shuttle, over 5 kg with muzzle. Large dogs will have to stay in the back of the shuttle.
