A hike that climbs into a wild corner of the Maddalene where the small Poinella lake reflects the pointed peaks that connect us to nearby South Tyrol.
It is a moderately physically demanding hike but offers many points where you can stop to rest and look around: along the way, you will find Malga Lavazzè with its alpine pasture and then the beautiful Masa Murada bivouac.
There are no rest stops along the route offering catering, so you need to bring a packed lunch.
At Malga Lavazzè you can buy excellent alpine cheese.
